Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" Noisy DVD

I've just bought a MacBook Pro 13.3" 1 month ago. After several hours of working hour doing some musical stuff on my MacBook Pro, I've nosticed that there are something odd with the DVD slot. The MacBook 13.3" DVD slot make a very annoying noise when you insert a disc into it. This problem couldn't because the dvd drive is dusty or not clean, because...man it's only a month old!

Anyway the MacBook Pro 13.3" performance itself still great for doing some mobile work...

Personalized Your iPhone

Some people are willing to customize their iPhone with signature on the back side of their iPhone. Right now only people who lives in New York can enjoy the service to carve their phones on Engadget pal Philip Torrone's shop. There's a brave customer was first to pony up, and PT set his 35W Epilog laser to 40 percent power and etched in these sweet old-school flying toasters. Interestingly, PT says the back of the iPhone is "nice plastic" and not aluminum.

Safari For Windows

At last one of my favorite browser is coming to windows, it's the safar 3.0 for windows!. Steve Jobs once said that iTunes on Windows was like “giving ice water to someone in hell”. Today, Apple is giving more ice water to the people of hell by releasing a public beta of Safari 3.0 to Windows users.

According to Apple, Safari 3.0 is 2 times faster than Internet Explorer and 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2 when loading pages. My experience say that this web browser is fast and is worth to try.

• Improved inline find. When using the Find Command in Safari (cmd-f), a find bar will appear on top allowing you to enter your search term. When a matched text is found, Safari will dim the page and show the selected match with an orange background with white border.
• Drag and drop tabs.
• Resizable text field — Safari lets you resize textarea forms.

Windows and Mac users can now download the public beta from here

iPhone Anyone?

On 29th of June 2007, Apple has launch its fenomenal phone in the U.S. and like predicted before, it's sold out in a very short time. For the Asian countries it will be ship on 2008, a very long delayed shipment time I think. A few seller would take this time as a good oportunity for selling this item with high prices, usually they will doubled the price (eg. from USD 1000 become USD 2000). A very not reasonable price, but people will buy it for their prestige. For me? I'll wait for the official shipment in my country.
